This skirt by A.L.C. is very pretty looking, I love the pleating, but it's $693 on shopbop, which seems like it must be a joke because that shit is made of polyester. POLYESTER!!! And it appears that it's just been slapped onto an exposed elastic waistband. Ugh, vomit.
It does look good with a gray sweatshirt, thank god that waistband is covered.
I think I can make something like this myself for way cheaper, so that's what I'm aiming to do this Sunday. I bought some half price remnant black silk, and it only cost me $28. Suck on that, polyester! We'll see how it goes.
