Proenza Schouler Fall RTW 2011

The Proenza Schouler show was pretty great.  The clothes were really interesting, the jewelry was big and chunky (which is just how I like my jewelry) and the the shoes were a whole lot of good.  Highlights below.

The way this dress is put together is so cool, and it looks great.  Sometimes interesting construction can lead to awkward fit, but not so here.

Cool construction on the skirt and I love the necklace.

This top is awesome.

No seriously, look at it up close.  I thought it was just a jersey print, but on closer inspection it looks like applique on mesh.  Also the pattern is not symmetrical from the left to the right side.  I like it.

Velvet is pretty.
