Rodarte Fall RTW 2011

The Rodarte show was pretty good, there were a few looks I really liked.   The fact that they were inspired by the American Prairie read loud and clear in most of the pieces.  My favorite looks are below.

Love the repeating shape of the collar in the bodice.

This dress/long coat looks like it may take a little figuring out to get into it properly. The criss crossing top and pleating on the skirt portion are pretty great

If you hadn't gotten the prairie influence yet then you can't miss it here.

I'm not sure how this fits in with the rest of the collection, but it's a really hot dress, if you've got the body for it.

These sweaters are really cute, and I could totally make one myself, no problem. I love them with the skirts.

If you're like me you saw the red dresses at the end and thought, "What does this have to do with the rest of it?"  Apparently it was reference to the Wizard of Oz.  Ok.  It doesn't really matter, it was pretty, and I want it.
