Artist Spotlight : Carrie Bilbo

Last week in my moth post I featured a few necklaces that were done by artist Carrie Bilbo, and I like all her stuff that she has up on Etsy so much that I'm just going to do a whole post of her jewelry.  The influence that nature has in her work is very apparent; from using actual insect wings, to mimicking tree branches, to leaving some stones in their raw unfinished form.  At the same time the pieces feel very modern, and in some cases very urban as well.  Basically the shit's cool, and I want all of it, but especially the following pieces.

Druse Stack Ring - set of five rings, made to be stacked, but you could wear them individually too.

Cone Rings - Available in Gold and Silver made with your choice of a pink, blue, or yellow raw sapphire.

Wing Shape Earrings - in Silver and Gold.

Raw Stone Rattle Necklace - Sterling and brass pendant with pink, yellow, or blue raw sapphires trapped between two watch crystals, your choice of colors.

Cicada Wing Pendant - brass and sterling silver pendant with a real cicada wing trapped between to watch crystals, your choice of blue or brown wing.

Rubber Cut Out Cuff - made of hand pierced copper that is plated with black gun metal plating, detailed by hand with liquid black rubber.

Branch Bangle - Available in Silver or Gold.
