I was wasting time on Net-A-Porter yesterday when I can across this lovely sight. I'm such a sucker for paillettes and this has a little twist to it. Marni paillette-embellished bib necklace, with melty-warped paillettes for a mere $420. I love love love it, but will never ever have it. Also, I don't know if I would have styled this with a semi-chunky red sweater, I kinda feel like the sweater is stealing a little of the necklace's thunder.
You could work both pieces at the same time, if being matchy-matchy is your thing. I like the sandals here too, also Marni.
Oooooh look, there's more! But what is it?
Uh, duh, it's a head dress. . . swim cap. . . thing. Marni paillette-embellished wool-felt hat, yours for $1055. Odd that the other pieces were modeled by a live model and this ended up on a mannequin head.
After looking at these I wanted to look and see how this stuff had looked on the runway, but I couldn't find any images of them from the past few season's collections, so maybe they didn't show them. I did however end up looking through the Marni Pre-fall 2011 Collection and found a bunch of looks that made me super happy even though some of them are not like anything I'd ever wear.
Take this look for example, I love this look even though the pants are sort of harem-y and would make me look even shorter and hippier than I already am. But I love the plaid, lots, and the bag, and the shoes. It's all good.
I feel sorta whatever about the clothes here, but the accessories are kick-ass, especially those mittens and shoes.
This is cute, I like the blue on black heart print in the skirt. And how bad do you want that bag?
Head to toe I love all of this.
And again, all of it is yes.
I love all the different colors of the same print together here.
And finally, these goofy pants again, but I would still wear this whole look (if I wasn't poor), and as usual, the accessories are amazing.
